Wednesday 22 November - All 6 well and happy

Hi All, Went up today to check on the 6 cows and induct a new looker who will be joining on Wednesdays now.  All 6 are looking good, just a reminder from last year. Please could you keep an eye on the fences around the ewe trees (the cows last year sratcged against them and damaged them so they fell down) one to keep an eye out for as ewe is poisonous to cattle.  Thanks very much!  Grace Grazing Team

Thursday 16 February 2023

9 - 9:15  All well this morning. They were all at the trough. Walked round checking the fence. They followed me until they got bored.  Skylarks, yellowhammers, and great tits singing.  Grace, are they being taken off now, or do you need them checking next week too?

Tuesday 14th February

9:10 - 9:30 All well this morning. Very foggy, but they were easy to find.

Thursday 9th February 2023

8:35 - 8:50 All well this morning. All 8 were grazing in the open area at the end. Fences along road were all ok.  By the time I started driving home, they were at the water trough.

Tues 7th February 2023

8:25 - 8:40 All well this morning. Cattle eating brambles in the centre of the area. Very cold (-3.5C) so broke ice on trough.  Fence along roadside all in good order. Tim Graham.
